Thursday Games

Hi everyone! Camille sends you lots of kisses and she proposes you a couple of games.

Because today it is a special day and Elena and Pilar has sent you some crafts to do, I just would like you to finish English and Natural Science exercises for tomorrow. I will post the answers and you should check them. Anyway, they are Camille's games. We hope you like them.
Invisible Man:

  • Materials
    • Two pieces of paper to draw stick figure on (one for each team)
    • Two more pieces of paper for each team to write their words on
    • List of words to spell (can use vocabulary from past English units)
  • Instructions
    • Students should gather their family and make two teams. Each team has to draw a stick figure on their paper with the same amount of parts (1 head, 1 body, 2 arms, 2 legs, etc.). Then each team should give the other team a word to spell. If the team spells the word correctly, they can erase one (1) body part. If they don’t spell it correctly, the body part stays. Repeat until the first team to erase their stick figure wins!

Hangman:
  • Materials
    • List of words to spell (can use vocabulary from English units)
    • A piece of paper to draw the person and the lines for the words
  • Instructions
    • One person should pick a word and then draw lines to represent the letters. For example, if the word is ‘claws’ the person should draw five lines like so: _ _ _ _ _. Then everyone else should guess what the word is letter by letter. If someone guesses a letter wrong, the person whose turn it is has to draw part of a body. If the group guesses the word before the body is complete, they win!
