Think about our Pasamonte classroom and all of you you in that classroom. Now think about you all at the playground. The population density is higher... WHERE?
at the playground because the population is the same BUT THE SPACE IS BIGGER.
Very good, crystal clear now! I would like you to look at the pictures and answer some questions for tomorrow.
- Ex. 1 This maps represents the world population density, take a look and answer the questions.
a. Which continent has the highest population density?
b. Looking at the map, what would you say the most density populated country is?
c. Imagine the ecuador line which divides world map in: north and south, which one has higher population density?
Ex. 2 The following map shows the population density of Europe. Take a close look to this picture and answer the questions.
a) Where could you find higher population density: NORTH, SOUTH, WEST, EAST or CENTRAL EUROPE?
b) Spain and France has similar population, which one presents higher population density?
c) Where could you find the lowest population density in Europe: NORTH, SOUTH, WEST, EAST or CENTRAL Europe? What do you think is the reason to have the lowest population density?
